Top 5 WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Performers in WWE History
WWE TLC is only a few weeks away and there is very little buzz behind the event right now. However, I am going to continue my look back to past TLC matches in WWE history.
Today, I will present the best performers from said matches. Before anybody asks, anything involving the third TLC match on Smackdown in 2001 will not count. With that being said, let's begin!
5. Matt Hardy
1 of 5What a bright future this guy had! Oh well...
Nothing can take away his great years a few years back. He always performed to the highest standard in TLC matches and he was (one of, if not) the best performer in the tag team title match at Wrestle Mania XVII.
Matt Hardy more than lived up to his "extreme" nickname.
4. Chris Jericho
2 of 5Chris Jericho was not in a lot of TLC matches, but he stood out in 2009. His strong performance in 2002 on Raw also put him over the top.
The ending to his 2009 match with The Big Show, Shawn Michaels and Triple H was just ridiculous. It was one of those, "Did he just do that?" moments. It was really dangerous, and I am very happy Jericho saved himself before any more damage was done.
The video speaks for itself. Jericho is a one of a kind talent that can survive in any environment, including tables, ladders, and chairs.
3. Bubba Ray Dudley
3 of 5Yes, he was amazing to watch during these matches. If any atmosphere was for Bubba Ray Dudley, a match filled with weapons was it!
Of course, he was the "big" guy in the match. That played perfectly because it let everybody else do the high flying moves, while he took some of the bigger moves.
I am happy to see his revival in 2011, but seeing him that good in WWE would be better.
2. Jeff Hardy
4 of 5He was very close to the top spot, but it was hard to award Jeff Hardy as the best without a good record in TLC matches.
I know wrestling is a staged setting, but wins do count here a little bit. I can't overlook that factor. I tried, but I just can't.
We all know about Jeff Hardy and his huge highlights, but he also was one of the few performers that fans really "cared" about. Not just cheered for, but actually cared about.
That spoke a lot about his personality, but it really was the saving grace for TLC matches for many years. He could be argued as the best, but only one man beat him.
1. Edge
5 of 5Yes, Christian was there for the tag matches. However, Edge had quite a few great single's matches as well. There was no other option at No. 1 here.
The man has just as many moments as Jeff Hardy but many more wins under his belt. No doubt the top honor has to go to the Rated R Superstar!
In a cruel, ironic twist, the same match that made Edge's career likely played a major role in ending it as well.
