NFL Week 13 Predictions: Big Favorites That Will Easily Cover the Spread
You can never be certain of anything in the NFL, but at this juncture of the season, most observers pretty much know what every team brings to the table. There is most certainly a pack of teams that has separated itself from the field, and you can essentially count on those teams to perform every week.
There is no shortage of one-sided matchups on the Week 13 slate, and while you can never count anyone out in the NFL, talent will usually win out. Here are three big favorites who should have no issue covering the spread this weekend.
San Francisco 49ers (-13.5)

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The San Francisco 49ers are far from being the NFL's most explosive team, but they have been very consistent this year and have taken advantage of a weak schedule. They will once again have an opportunity to reap the benefits of the weak NFC West as they take on the St. Louis Rams.
St. Louis was pegged by many as the team that would take the division this season, but due to injuries and overall poor play, the Rams haven't lived up to expectations. The Rams are particularly weak against the run, and that is something that plays right into the Niners' hands as they feature Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter in the backfield. Provided San Fran's defense is stout as usual, the Niners should easily cover.
Green Bay Packers (-7)
The undefeated Green Bay Packers have breezed by virtually every opponent this season, so it comes as no surprise that they are seven-point favorites against the New York Giants. The G-Men have been going through a sharp decline since a good start to the season, which was punctuated by a 49-24 blowout at the hands of the New Orleans Saints last week.
Drew Brees and the Saints certainly exposed some major weaknesses in the Giants' secondary, and you better believe that Aaron Rodgers and the Packers will take advantage of it too. The Giants may be able to score with the Packers for a while, but ultimately I think Rodgers will be too much in what will amount to a fairly easy Green Bay win.
New England Patriots (-21)
In what is the largest spread of the season, the red-hot New England Patriots are 21-point favorites this week against the winless Indianapolis Colts. While 21 points is certainly quite a bit, the Colts are completely inept in every facet and will turn to Dan Orlovsky at quarterback this week. When you combine that with Indy's terrible defense, the Pats should dominate.
Quarterback Tom Brady and all of his weapons have been on a rampage as of late, and I don't expect them to slow down against the lowly Colts. The Patriots' certainly have some weaknesses on defense, particularly in the secondary, but the Colts don't have the tools to exploit that right now. When you put two teams in completely different stratosphere's against each other, the game will end in a blowout more often than not.
