UCLA gave everything they got, but it wasn't enough against a more talented Oregon squad.

The Bruins never quit. They came out and stopped the Ducks to start the second half and followed it with a touchdown. They wouldn't score again until the end, but they came up with two crucial fourth down stops. They followed it up with a great touchdown catch from Nelson Rosario.

As expected, Oregon's running attack was too much for the Bruins. LaMichael James had 219 yards and three touchdowns and was unstoppable on the outside. The Bruins threw some great counter-punches, but Oregon never let them full seize the momentum.

This is the third straight Pac-10/12 title for the Ducks. They will take home the inaugural Pac-12 championship and will be the first to hoist the 60 pound Pac-12 champion trophy.

Now, they await the winner of Wisconsin and Michigan State. The Ducks can meet them in Pasadena.

This was the final game for Bruins head coach Rick Neuheisel. The former Rose Bowl MVP was unable to reach the lofty goals that were prescribed to him upon taking over his alma mater. Nevertheless, he has the Bruins in the title game with a shot at the Rose Bowl.

Even at 6-7, the Bruins have applied for, and been granted, a waiver from the NCAA that allows them to play in a bowl game. They will play once more this season, but it won't be with their beleaguered coach.
