Green Bay Packers vs. New York Giants: Spread Info, Line and Predictions
The undefeated Green Bay Packers hit the road to take on the slumping New York Giants this Sunday. It's a game that the Giants desperately need to win, but Aaron Rodgers and company will be very hard to take down.
New York is currently on a three-game losing streak, and the schedule doesn't get much better after this week. A loss on Sunday would put the Giants in a deeper hole and further jeopardize their chances of making the playoffs.
Green Bay continues to be unstoppable, but the Packers' sub-par secondary will be put to the test by Eli Manning, and they need to step their game up.

With that said, let's dig into some specifics of this NFC showdown.
When: Sunday, Dec. 4 at 4:15 p.m. ET
Where: MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford, NJ
Watch: FOX
Spread
The Packers are favored at -7, and they shouldn't have much trouble covering. The Giants were just destroyed by the New Orleans Saints, and Green Bay knows it's better than the Saints, so expect a solid victory for the Packers.
Over/Under
The over/under is set at 52, and I like the over here. The offenses will be in full force this Sunday, so expect a high-scoring affair. Rodgers won't be shut down, and Manning will also have a stellar performance.
Key Injuries
For the Packers, according to CBSSports, LBs A.J. Hawk (calf) and Desmond Bishop (calf) have both been ruled out. RB James Starks (knee, ankle) is listed as probable.
For the Giants, according to CBSSports, DE Osi Umenyiora (ankle, knee) has been ruled out. LB Michael Boley (hamstring) and RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) are listed as questionable.
WR Mario Manningham (knee) is listed as doubtful. DE Justin Tuck (ankle), S Antrel Rolle (back) and WRs Hakeem Nicks (ribs, concussion) and Victor Cruz (hip) are probable for Sunday.
Fantasy Big Plays
Aaron Rodgers is an obvious must-start, as well as Greg Jennings. Even though Jeremichael Finley hasn't produced great fantasy numbers lately, the Giants have given up the most fantasy points to tight ends in the last five weeks, so don't give up on him just yet.
Eli Manning is a definite start if he's on your team, unless your other quarterback is Rodgers or Tom Brady, which would be remarkable. Cruz should be healthy enough to play, and you'll want him in your lineup too because of his ability to catch the deep ball.
The Packers give up an average of 287 passing yards per game, so any of Manning's weapons are worth the start.
Keys to a Green Bay Win
Green Bay's offensive line has to protect Rodgers at all times. The Giants love applying pressure on quarterbacks, and if they can frustrate Rodgers' rhythm, then it increases their chances of winning.
With plenty of time to throw, Rodgers will pick apart the Giants' defense en route to a big victory. Also, the Packers' pass defense has to make big plays, or Manning will easily keep this game close throughout.
Keys to a New York Win
It won't be easy, but the Giants have to figure out a way to shut down Rodgers. Creating turnovers will allow them more opportunities to score, which gives them a much better shot at winning.
Since Rodgers has only thrown four interceptions, New York has to match Green Bay score for score. The reigning Super Bowl MVP rarely makes mistakes, but on the off chance he does, the Giants have to capitalize and make sure they score.
Prediction
Packers 34, Giants 24
