NFL Week 13 Picks: Over/Unders Ready To Be Exploited
The over/unders for Week 13 present a chance to make some easy money. There are several solid plays, whose matchups, for various reasons, have confused the betting public and found oddsmakers struggling to set an accurate line.
It is time to use that to our benefit. All three of these games are locks.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Play: Under 37.5
Normally, it is wise to avoid betting the under on low totals such as this. A couple of turnovers and easy touchdowns, and that under bet is in trouble. However, if there was ever a game to take that under bet this is it.
The Chiefs and Bears roll into this game playing solid defense. They also come into it with a QB situation that is scrambling to recover from injuries.
Caleb Hanie will be making his second start for the Bears this week. Hanie made a couple of nice plays against the Raiders, but he also made some awful ones on his way to throwing three picks.
The Bears managed to put up 20 points in that game, but they were playing from behind and Hanie ended up throwing 36 passes. That isn't going to be the case in this game.
This Bears will make a push to grind this one out on the ground. The Chiefs are going to struggle to score points and the Bears won't leave themselves vulnerable to another three-interception performance.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs enter this game having not scored more than 10 points since Week 8.
Kyle Orton will likely take over play-calling duties for Tyler Palko, but it is hard to see that bringing about much improvement. Orton will yet to have a full grasp of this system, he hasn't taken a snap in two months and this Chiefs offense had disappeared before their starter Matt Cassel was injured.
Prediction: Bears 16, Chiefs 6
Play: Over 37.5
This tiny over/under is no doubt due to the fact that the Texans are all of a sudden forced to have head coach Gary Kubiak play quarterback. Well, that's not exactly true, but it might as well be. Third-string rookie QB T.J. Yates will handle the play-calling duties for the Texans.
Despite this, 37.5 is still too low for this one. The Falcons have scored at least 23 in every game since Week 5. Their balanced offense is clicking, and it is impossible to shut them down for a whole game.
Moving the ball against the Texans' No. 1 defense is not going to be easy, but they should be assisted by an interception or five.
Meanwhile, the Texans will have their No. 3-ranked rushing attack to lean on to help Yates move the ball. And when he does throw he will have the luxury of throwing it up to Andre Johnson.
This will be Johnson's second game back from injury. He should be ready to make an impact, and he has the ability to make any QB look good on at least a couple of throws.
Prediction: Falcons 24, Texans 17
Play: Under 37.5
This game might not hit 20 points. The Vikings defense has been horrid, but that is almost exclusively the result of their pass defense. The Broncos are not equipped to beat teams with the passing game.
Denver is last in the league averaging just 27.4 pass attempts per game. And the reality is they aren't even throwing that much. Since Tim Tebow took over, the Broncos have been almost an exclusive running offense. Their last three games the Broncos are averaging just 15.7 pass attempts per game.
That means they are going to be trying to beat the Vikings by attacking the strength of their defense. The Vikings are fourth in the NFL averaging just 3.7 yards allowed per rush.
Denver is going to have a hard time playing the way they want to play in this game, and that means an offense that is already struggling to score points is going to find even more struggles.
Meanwhile, Minnesota's offense isn't faring any better. They have averaged just 14 points a game over their last three games.
That low average is actually better than what the Broncos have been allowing. Over their past three games Denver has allowed an average of 12 points per game.
Combine this with the fact that Adrian Peterson is out, and you have two offenses that are going nowhere.
Prediction: Broncos 10, Vikings 6
