Week 13 Fantasy Football Rankings: Rating the 5 Worst QBs

Zach KruseDec 2, 2011

In Week 13, the following five quarterbacks rank at the bottom our fantasy rankings:

5. Mark Sanchez, Jets

Four touchdown passes against the Bills was more of a mirage than anything. Against the Redskins' 10th ranked fantasy defense against quarterbacks, Sanchez will revert back to the average quarterback he is. The Redskins can bring enough pressure (33 sacks) to really have Sanchez rattled.

4. Rex Grossman, Redskins

In his first three games back as the Redskins starter, Grossman has thrown five picks and fumbled twice. Like we've known all along, Grossman is still a turnover machine. Things don't get any easier against the Jets this weekend, as they bring to Washington the NFL's third best fantasy defense againt quarterbacks. Grossman could really struggle.

3. T.J. Yates, Texans

I don't think Yates is a lock to be terrible in his first NFL start, but chances are that the Texans protect him with the running game against the Falcons. Unless you're Tim Tebow, it's hard to score fantasy points without throwing the football.

2. Colt McCoy, Browns

There are plenty of factors going against McCoy in Week 13. Not only is his elbow banged up, but McCoy is facing the top fantasy pass defense in the Baltimore Ravens. For a guy that has thrown for over 250 yards just once this season, McCoy will be a fantasy disaster this weekend.

1. Blaine Gabbert, Jaguars

Gabbert has locked down this position for weeks and won't be loosening his grasp any time soon. The rookie has been lost for most of this season. Seven of his 10 games in 2011 ended with less than 150 yards, and he's yet to throw more than one touchdown in a game. The Chargers defense won't be friendly to the struggling rookie.
