Week 13 NFL Picks: San Francisco 49ers and More Home Teams Certain to Win
Nobody likes to lose, especially on their home field. NFL teams prepare every week to protect their house, and this Sunday, a number of them will have no trouble doing just that.
Rooting for the underdog can be fun at times, but several of them don't stand a chance this week. One thing that is surprising about this Sunday is that some home teams aren't even favorites, but don't be surprised if they pull out the victory. There's nothing like a little extra motivation to play in front of the home crowd.
With that said, here three home teams that will defend their home turf and get a victory in Week 13.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Nobody could have predicted the 49ers would be running away with the NFC West, but that is exactly what is happening. No other team in the division has a winning record, and it could stay that way for the rest of the season.
This Sunday afternoon, the 49ers will host the St. Louis Rams, and it's not going to be much of a contest. Since Steven Jackson is on my fantasy team, I really hope he's the one that scores the first rushing touchdown on the 49ers, but there is no guarantee.
Since the pass defense is the 49ers' weak spot, expect Sam Bradford to air it out a lot if he even plays. He sat out practice on Thursday, and AJ Feely took all the reps.
Jackson is their go to guy, but the 49ers run defense is the best in the league, and they will prevent him from having a monster game.
Frank Gore hasn't had a 100-yard rushing game in almost a month, but that will change since he's about to take on the worst run defense in the NFL. He's listed as probable, but he'll be ready to go and help the 49ers get an easy victory.
Prediction: 49ers 28, Rams 14
Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers are coming to town, and while they'll put up a good fight, the Buccaneers will not falter in front of the home fans.
Josh Freeman and LeGarrette Blount will handle business on Sunday afternoon, which will be the difference-maker. The Panthers defense is not very good, and both of the Buccaneers' stars will shine bright to get the victory.
Tampa's defense isn't superb either, which means Newton is due for a big game. However, the Bucs' offense will come through this week after falling short in recent weeks. Tampa Bay finally puts an end to its five-game losing streak.
Prediction: Buccaneers 35, Panthers 28
The Bills are coming off a tough loss to the division rival New York Jets, but they played their hearts out and will keep doing so at home this Sunday.
The Tennessee Titans come into town this weekend, and while the Bills defense will struggle to slow down Chris Johnson and the Titans' offense, Ryan Fitzpatrick and company will come through for the fans in the stands.
The loss of Fred Jackson has put extra pressure on Fitzpatrick, but he delivered a great effort last week against a talented defense, and he'll be ready to win against the Titans on Sunday.
Expect Steve Johnson to rebound strong after shooting himself in the foot with multiple dropped passes late in the game.
Prediction: Bills 28, Titans 21
