2011 Fantasy Football Start/Sit: NFL Week 13
Here’s a look at LestersLegends' sit and start advice as you set your lineups for the 13th week of the NFL season.
Quarterbacks
Start:
Tim Tebow @ Minnesota: Tebow continues to produce with his feet and not make mistakes with his arm to provide a solid fantasy score. The Vikings secondary is depleted enough that Tebow could actually look like a legitimate NFL QB this week. Plus, Eric Decker’s return to the Metrodome could be inspiring.
Sit:
Joe Flacco @ Cleveland: The Browns lead the league with 174.8 passing yards per game allowed. They are also one of four teams that have allowed less than 12 touchdown passes. Flacco is inconsistent, has one multiple touchdown game since Week 3, and isn’t going to make up on his passing shortcomings with his feet. Meanwhile the Browns rank 29th against the run, meaning Ray Rice should run wild.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Running Backs
Start:
BenJarvus Green-Ellis vs. Indianapolis: The Colts rank 31st in rushing defense giving up 150.6 ypg. The Firm has bounced back in his past two games with 150 total yards and two scores.
Sit:
Peyton Hillis vs. Baltimore: Hillis got 21 touches last week but only managed 61 total yards against the Bengals. He faces the Raven’s' third ranked run defense (91.5 ypg). He torched them in the first meeting last year, but they held him to 40 total yards in their second meeting.
Wide Receivers
Start:
Mike Williams vs. Carolina: After a slow start SMW has scored in the past two games with 83 and 84 yards respectively. He’s had at least six catches in five of his last six games. Carolina is middle-of-the-road on pass defense.
Sit:
Santana Moss vs. New York Jets: He made it through last week’s game without a hitch, but has to spend time on Revis Island this week. Not a fun task, especially with an inconsistent quarterback.
Tight Ends
Start:
Jermaine Gresham @ Pittsburgh:
Gresham scored in the Week 10 meeting with Pittsburgh and is averaging 58.0 yards the past two games. He should see a nice volume of targets against the Steelers.
Sit:
Owen Daniels vs. Atlanta: It’s not bad enough that Andre Johnson is back and the Texans are a run-first team, but they are on their third quarterback. I can see using AJ, but I wouldn’t risk my TE play at the hands of T.J. Yates.
Defenses
Start:
New England vs. Indianapolis: It’s gotten so bad in Indy that they are trotting out Dan Orlovsky. Yikes.
Sit:
New York Giants vs. Green Bay: They just got torched by the Saints and now face an even more prolific offense. Good luck with that.
