SEC Championship Game: LSU Will Dominate Georgia En Route to BCS Title Game
The LSU Tigers destroyed a quality Arkansas Razorbacks team on the road last week and the nation's best team will dominate an overrated Georgia en route to an SEC championship.
Since losing their first two games of the season, the Bulldogs have won 10 straight games, but have not beaten anyone that impressive.
Against bad teams like Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee, Georgia was less than impressive. Its only top-25 wins were against Auburn and Georgia Tech, and we know those teams are not very good.
Georgia has had a soft schedule this season by SEC standards, and its two toughest games were losses: the season opener versus Boise State and a close Week 2 loss to South Carolina.
The Tigers will make the Bulldogs realize why they're the best team in the country on Saturday and will embarrass Georgia.
LSU beat a very good Arkansas team 41-17 last week and held a Razorbacks offense with an elite passing game to just 207 yards through the air.
The Tigers' defense really was the story last week, and it will again be the reason they win against the Bulldogs.
Last week LSU allowed only 47 rushing yards, and when the Tigers completely take away one facet of your offense and make you one-dimensional, it's game over.
The Tigers defense allows just 10.6 points per game, second best in the nation.
Georgia has no shot to win this game; its only hope to win the SEC championship is if LSU shoots itself in the foot with mistakes and turnovers.
I doubt that will happen, and LSU is too talented on both sides of the ball not to beat Georgia by at least two touchdowns in the SEC title game.
