Nnamdi Asomugha Injury: Update on Philadelphia Eagles' Star's Neck Injury
Superstar corner Nnamdi Asomugha went to the locker room with an apparent neck injury after hitting his head on the turf in the second quarter of the Philadelphia Eagles' Thursday night game against the Seattle Seahawks. His return to the game is questionable, pending further evaluation. Asomugha playing despite a nagging injury that limited him in practice during the week.
Fantasy Impact
Unless you have the Eagles' defense on your fantasy team (which you shouldn't), Asomugha's absence doesn't make a lick of difference.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Who's the Backup?
Joselio Hanson will be the first player to get a crack at replacing Asomugha. Normally, the task would've fallen to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, but he had already been ruled out with an ankle injury.
Devastation Scale: 7 out of 10
On the one hand, the loss of Asomugha is huge for the Eagles, as it already compounds their lack of depth at corner with Rodgers-Cromartie already out of action. In any case, it's never easy to replace a Pro Bowler of Asomugha's caliber.
On the other hand, the Seattle Seahawks aren't exactly the Green Bay Packers, so Philly shouldn't be too much worse off without Asomugha in the game.
Timeline for Return
Asomugha's return is questionable and, given the way the NFL has been cracking down on head injuries this season, he seems unlikely to play again in this game.
What They're Saying
ESPN's Mike Sando reports that the Eagles' training staff is being very careful with Nnamdi Asomugha, their prized offseason investment:
