Michelle Beadle: Is WWE Superstar CM Punk Her New BFF?

Can I interest you in a story involving a WWE superstar and a high-profile ESPN personality?

Michelle Beadle has turned into one of the faces of ESPN thanks in large part to her show SportsNation, which gave her the freedom to start a podcast.

Recently she went to the WWE Survivor Series at Madison Square Garden and became part of the festivities. She states on her latest podcast that CM Punk not only messed up her hair when passing her by for the match, but he also tossed her his Bengay-covered shirt.

OMG!

On top of that, he stuck his face out far enough for Beadle to land a big fat kiss on his cheek. That’s some next-level-type stuff right there! She goes on to gush about how awesome CM Punk is and how WWE Nation is obsessed with him. Well it sounds like it’s Beadle that is indeed obsessed with the new champ. Just check out this tweet:

Sounds like the makings of a stage-five clinger to me! Then again, maybe that’s what Punk is looking for judging by his response:

Maybe this is just the beginning of some sort of relationship. Combing two forces in their respective fields to create one super-team. What if Beadle comes out at Monday Night Raw wearing the Bengay-covered shirt from Punk ready to whip some tail on anybody messing with Punk?

Here’s to hoping this is only the beginning of a relationship that may end with Beadle powerslamming some jabroni messing with Punk.
