Iowa State vs. Kansas State: Latest Spread Info, BCS Impact and Predictions
The Iowa State Cyclones are the only thing standing in the way of the Kansas State Wildcats clinching a share of the Big 12 title.
Did anyone expect that at the beginning of the season? With dominant teams like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Texas all ranked in the preseason, nobody was expecting Bill Snyder's team to be the force they currently are.
As for Iowa State, they simply relish this spoiler role. The Cyclones are the only team to knock off the Pokes so far this year and may have destroyed their national title hopes in the process.
This time around they get a chance to obliterate Kansas State's first shot at a piece of a conference title since 2003.

Spread: Kansas State -10.5
The Wildcats have been beating up on spreads all season long. They're 9-2 against the spread on the year and 6-1 in their last seven. That one loss was a complete letdown against Oklahoma, the week after the Sooners lost to Texas Tech.
They've covered every game since, although they were underdogs in each.
The Wildcats have covered each of the last two meetings with the Cyclones. They'll cover again here.
Over/Under: 51.5
The two teams average 56 points per game on the season and have hit the over 11 of 20 times.
We know the Wildcats can keep up with high-scoring teams, but the question is whether Iowa State can keep up. Hitting 52 shouldn't be difficult, though. The Cyclones give up nearly 200 yards rushing and Kansas State will take advantage of that.
Key Injuries
James White, RB, Iowa State: probable
Tyler Lockett, WR, Kansas State: out
BCS Implications
Big. The Wildcats can earn a share of the Big 12 title with a win over the Cyclones.
A loss will leave things open to the Sooners and Pokes.
The Wildcats currently sit at No 11 in the BCS but could find themselves moving up with a win.
Keys to Iowa State Win
Shutting down Colin Klein. The Wildcats' quarterback does it all. He's attempting to break school records, Big 12 records and NCAA records on Saturday.
Iowa State is currently giving up 194 yards per game on the ground; Kansas State averages 193 yards rushing.
Everything they do keys through Klein. The Cyclones have to find a way to force him to throw the football down the field rather than running wild.
They also need to keep their composure.
Keys to Kansas State Win
Do what you do and treat it like another game. Kansas State can psyche themselves out of this opportunity for a piece of the Big 12 title.
It has been a long time since they have, but the deed is not complete just yet.
The Wildcats need to keep focused and not allow themselves to be blindsided the way the Pokes were two weeks ago.
Being at home should help, but they need to live in the moment of this game or it will all be for naught.
Prediction: Kansas State 35, Iowa 21
