Evan Dunham vs. Paul Sass Scheduled for UFC on Fox 2
The card for the UFC's second event on Fox is slowly growing.
A lightweight matchup between two young up and comers is in place for UFC on Fox 2, as Evan Dunham will square off against Paul Sass.
Dunham's star was shining bright as he started off his career 11-0, including going 4-0 in the UFC. Then at UFC 119, he suffered a controversial split decision loss to Sean Sherk.
Many were able to write that off, and Dunham's next fight was against Melvin Guillard. There would be no doubt this time as Guillard knocked out Dunham in just under three minutes.
However, Dunham recently rebounded with a unanimous decision over The Ultimate Fighter 13 vet, Shamar Bailey.
Paul Sass is still on the rise, and hasn't suffered any setbacks in his career, as he is a perfect 12-0.
Not only that, but he's 12-0 with 11 submission finishes, all being either heel hooks or triangle chokes.
In his last fight, he submitted The Ultimate Fighter 12 runner up, Michael Johnson, with a vicious heel hook in the first round.
It was the best performance of Sass' career, and one that he will certainly look to build on going into this fight.
The winner of this bout will be close to the top 10, and will continue to climb the ladder towards UFC gold.
