Week 13 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Vince Young Leads Shocking Group of Starters

The fantasy world never ceases to amaze me. In this week's edition of the wild and unusual, Vince Young is actually a bona fide starter. 

Just when you thought you had seen everything, Young comes in to demand that you give him credence as an actual fantasy player of some worth. He isn't the only option that you should target heading into Week 13. 

Here are a few friendly suggestions to get you started as we all tiptoe towards respective playoffs happening all over the fantasy football world. 

If you are hurting for a replacement, these guys can lead you in the right direction. 

Vince Young

The Philadelphia Eagles will remember this season as one of the most awful disappointments in their history. They really could place the blame on Young who labeled them the Dream Team. 

On Sunday, he will enjoy a rare turn as franchise hero. Michael Vick will once again be sidelined with a rib injury, making Young vital if the Eagles want to maintain hope for the playoffs. 

The Seahawks fare well against quarterbacks, but the Young has proved he is getting the hang of being the man behind center. He has improved his fantasy production in each of his starts and that will continue in a must-win game in Seattle. 

Marshawn Lynch

Since we are on this game, we may as well highlight Marshawn Lynch as an option you can't be without this Sunday. 

The Eagles are soft on the rush and Lynch has been far more beast mode as of late. If the Seahawks are going to get the win, Lynch will need to be at his best. That is what I am banking on for fantasy owners. 

Carson Palmer

This unlikely hero has a couple things going for him. The Dolphins defend the run a lot better than the pass. The Raiders will get vertical in this one making Palmer a medium risk, but very high reward for the week.
