WWE: When Will Cody Rhodes vs Booker T's Wrestling Match Be Happening?

Although it is something I do not want to see, I know it is coming to an arena near us soon. Maybe this coming week in Jacksonville.

I understand at the taping of SmackDown there will be a six-man tag match with Cody Rhodes on one side and Booker T as the special guest referee.

Oh please, don't let this happen.

I know that WWE creative has done this in the past when younger wrestlers take on the grizzled veteran in hopes of moving forward. This time, the feud between the Intercontinental Champion and the former WCW World Champion serves a purpose, but again I don't like it.

The two superstars are bringing a gap that may allow Booker T to get back in the ring, much like others are in the process of doing. We are seeing Mick Foley, Triple H, Roddy Piper before, Jerry Lawler and the list goes on and on as they climb back into the squared circle to prove they still have it.

Still, I don't like it.

Right now, I want to see Rhodes defend his title, feud with Sheamus or Daniel Bryan or Rey Mysterio and climb the ladder in the heavyweight title picture.

Feuding with Booker T does nothing but sell for the former champion. It does nothing to aid the current wrestler.

We all saw what the feud with Jerry Lawler (and Michael Cole) did for Jack Swagger. He is going nowhere. Rhodes changed his gimmick and is growing as a serious contender for the world title. This makes no sense to me. But again, it does have a purpose and we all know the WWE creative teams know what it is doing.

But until then, we will wait for Rhodes to strike again, make Booker T mad and then it's on like the creative team wants it to be.

But I don't want to see it and I sure don't like it.
