WWE News: John Morrison Exit Diaries (Final Entry): Morrison Killed Off by Miz

Alfred KonuwaNov 29, 2011

Big Nasty will be keeping a running diary of what appear to be John Morrison's final days in the WWE. There have been numerous rumblings that Morrison's contract is expiring and will not be renewed. As a result of this, among other circumstances, Morrison has been booked into the ground on his way out of the door.

The proverbial buzzards are now circling furiously around the fading WWE career of John Morrison.  It is all but a foregone conclusion that this will be his final night with the WWE, and the pro wrestling news wire has not shied away from reaffirming such.

Accordingly, Morrison was bombarded with Twitter inquiries as to his bleak future with the WWE, to which he responded:

"

“I’ll post more about the future next week. Right now I’m planning on tearing the house down at RAW tomorrow in Columbia SC! #JoMoSapiens”

"

Rising star Zack Ryder posted a rather prescient episode of his popular Z! True Long Island Story following Survivor Series featuring John Morrison himself.  In the climactic finish to the episode, Morrison was victimized by an exploding limousine in an ode to a similar stunt pulled by Vince McMahon in 2007.

Prior to what is most likely Morrison's final appearance in the WWE for a while, reports began to surface that Morrison would be unceremoniously fed to Brodus Clay in the man-beast's long-awaited debut.  Clay prematurely confirmed such reports in the form of a tweet stating he would destroy Morrison.  According to F4Wonline, the tweet was deleted shortly after.

The precocious tweet by Clay only added to the growing speculation that Morrison would indeed be squashed in his final appearance with the WWE.  However, with last-minute rewrites being as much of a staple to RAW as red ring ropes, such speculation should only be taken with a grain of salt.

The writing on the wall surrounding John Morrison's imminent WWE demise couldn't be removed with Oxy Clean.  Nevertheless, all that's left to do now is rinse.

COLUMBIA, South Car.—November 28.  Right on cue, it is announced that the Miz will be taking on John Morrison in a falls count anywhere match.  Brodus Clay's debut will now be pushed back another week in what is beginning to look more and more like Dr. Dre's never-ending release schedule for Detox.

Morrison is more than expected to be on the losing end of a match with the Miz given A. His win-loss track record against the Miz and B. Reports that the Miz is expected to reenter the WWE title picture with R-Truth currently serving a 30-day suspension.

Falls Count Anywhere:  The Miz vs. John Morrison

John Morrison makes his way out to the ring, but before the match can start Miz attacks Morrison with a steel pipe.  Miz goes after Morrison's right leg with the pipe as WWE officials urge him to stop.

Miz calmly walks over to the ring and stands proudly before of the WWE Universe to a chorus of boos.  As Morrison receives medical attention, he insists that he can still go as he fights off WWE officials and limps his way to the ring.

The match officially starts as the Miz immediately goes back to work on Morrison's leg.  Miz works over the leg in the ring before heading to the outside and wrapping Morrison's knee around the steel post.

Miz then picks up a kendo stick and prepares to continue his assault, but Morrison battled back with a clothesline before gaining possession of the kendo stick himself.

Morrison batters Miz with the kendo stick repeatedly as the action spills back to the outside.  Morrison scores a nearfall over Miz before dragging himself back to the kendo stick as Miz attempts to crawl the hell out of dodge.

Morrison uses the kendo stick as a cane as he continues to favor his right leg while stalking the Miz.  Out of desperation, Miz violently pulls Morrison forward as he lands head first into the WWE logo.  Miz follows up with a skull crushing finale on the steel ramp.  The referee calls for the bell as Miz wins via TKO.

After the match, Michael Cole reiterates that the Miz, a former tag team partner of Morrison's, is intent on "eliminating" people who have held him back in the past with his attack on R-Truth from last week serving as an example.

Morrison receives the stretcher treatment as WWE officials and EMT's wheel him out of South Carolina and, in effect, out of the WWE.
