Michael Vick Injury: Updates on Eagles Star's Week 13 Status and Fantasy Value
The Philadelphia Eagles are in a free fall after their blow out loss yesterday to the New England Patriots 38-20. There are not a lot of answers and it doesn’t look like starting quarterback Michael Vick is coming back anytime soon.
UPDATE: Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 11:55 a.m. by Mike Chiari
As expected, it looks as though Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will miss his third consecutive game with a rib injury, and the same can be said for wide receiver Jeremy Maclin who will sit out Thursday night's game against the Seattle Seahawks with shoulder and hamstring ailments, according to the EaglesInsider Twitter page.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This means that Vince Young will start yet another game and will likely make for a decent fantasy option against the Seahawks. Young threw for 400 yards against the New England Patriots last week, and while he may not approach those numbers this week, you could do a lot worse.
Update: Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 11:53 p.m. EST by Michael Dixon
Reuben Frank is reporting that Vick, as well as receiver Jeremy Maclin will be held out of practice on Tuesday.
Keep an eye on Maclin's status, as well as Vick's. They directly impact each other. At this point, the Eagles are desperate. You would have to think that if he can play, he will.
Still, having missed the last two games and going through a short week, it doesn't look good.
Without Vick, this offense has struggled in converting red-zone attempts for touchdowns. In the game against the Patriots, the offense led by Vince Young was only able to convert two of four attempts in the Red Zone.
The week before that against the New York Giants, the Eagles were even worse going two for five. At least in that game against The Giants Philadelphia was able to pull out a victory winning 17-10.
In the victory against The Giants the Eagles got a dominating performance from their defense. However, the defense this year has not proved that they can play at that level they showed against The Giants.
After The Eagles defeat their head coach Andy Reid did not shed any light in his press conference about the status of Vick for Thursday Night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
As the Eagles sent this tweet out about Coach Reid's press conference.
With the rib injury to Vick it hurts what he does best, run outside the pocket. Vick has said that it hurts to breath because of his injury. If he is still suffering problems with breathing from this injury then he should not play.
Having Vick on the field with this injury hurts both his NFL team and your Fantasy Football team.
The injury will limit his dual-threat production that makes him such a valuable player. For your Fantasy team, if you happen to take a risk with Vick this week you could be disappointed with a low production day. Vick will not be able to run for those big gains outside of the pocket, while being limited on making those deep throws.
With this being either the last week or second to last week of your regular season now is not the time to take a risk. You have to bench Vick this week for someone on your bench, or for someone on your waiver wire.
Vick isn’t ruled out for the game this week. However, as the week progress his status could go from questionable to out.
Today The Eagles held practice and Vick did not practice with the team. According to Les Bowen Vick was a no-go today.
