January Transfer Window: 10 Players Real Madrid Could Obtain
The January transfer window is now less than a month away and Real Madrid as always are expected to be on the lookout for the next Galactico.
Many names have been thrown around with the current Spanish La Liga leaders, but some have been more noted than others.
Here is a closer look at the top 10 players currently linked to the club in no particular order.
Javier Hernandez
1 of 11Real Madrid had wishful thoughts of signing Javier Hernandez in January or next summer, but Manchester United took the necessary steps to tie down their Mexican striker until the 2015-16 season.
Vincent Kompany
2 of 11Manchester City captain and defender Vincent Kompany scored the lone goal that kept his team from loosing to Liverpool on Sunday November 27th.
In early November, he had been linked with a move to the Spanish capital by the Guardian and could still be a potential target for Jose Mourinho.
Jack Wilshere
3 of 11The Telegraph had Jack Wilshere listed as a transfer target for Real Madrid in mid-November. It would take a hefty sum to prize him from Arsene Wenger, but I honestly believe the youngster would turn down the move if Los Bloncos came calling.
Eden Hazard
4 of 11While Eden Hazard is a reported major target of Real Madrid, back in mid-November goal.com broke news that the player claimed there had been no contact from the Spanish giants.
However, he looks a heavy favorite to make the move from France to the Bernabeu this January or in the summer.
Inter Milan could put up a financial fight against Madrid as they are reportedly set to offer £43 million for the winger.
Yann M'Vila
5 of 11Rennes midfielder and French International Yann M'Vila looks set to move to either Real Madrid or Arsenal with both clubs currently projected to be in a biding war for his services.
Nemanja Vidic
6 of 11Both the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror broke news that Sir Alex Ferguson could be willing to let his big center back Nemanja Vidic leave Manchester United by selling him to Real Madrid in the near future.
Carlos Tevez
9 of 11Carlos Tevez is rumored to be going all over the place, but Real Madrid have been channeling different moves for him since the summer transfer window.
There have been rumors of full transfers, as well as a loan to the team in the Spanish capital.
Didier Drogba
10 of 11Several days ago, ESPNsoccernet released news that Didier Drogba would most definitely be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season. When mentioning his motivation for a future club, it was all about money.
With the deep pockets of Real Madrid and the fact that they have been interested on more than one occasion, plus Jose Mourinho having been responsible for bringing Drogba to Chelsea, it could be a reunion in the making for all parties.
While moves to the Los Angeles Galaxy and AC Milan are also possible, a move to Real Madrid would see him under a manager that would definitely favor him at times, and would most certainly utilize him as a starter and super sub.
Conclusion
11 of 11Jose Mourinho still has another month to get his transfer targets in line. Given that time, there could still be a whole group of changes to this possible wish list.
Once the new year starts the race will be on, and it will be another great transfer window to watch.
