WWE TLC 2011: Who Could CM Punk Face at TLC?

All is right with the world again. WWE needs to be good again.  

CM Punk is champion again, and it is a big deal for WWE fans. For years we were sick of the WWE title "passed around like a hot potato." Now that he is champion there are many opponents that he could face at TLC.

The Miz

The "Awesome One" has recently attacked R-Truth, ending their brief tag team run. 

Now it seems like The Miz is moving on to bigger and better things. A feud with CM Punk could make for some very interesting TV on Monday Nights. I hope they never bury The Miz into the mid-card level ever again.

Look for this matchup to happen in the near future. 

Alberto Del Rio

Could Del Rio get another title run?

I hope not. Del Rio is a really good wrestler but I believe that he got pushed so fast. WWE has been known for putting the same main event matches in PPVs but I believe it is time for something different. This may be the most likely scenario for TLC. 

John Cena

Here we go again. 

The WWE is going to book John Cena against CM Punk at TLC. We all know what's going to be the outcome of that match. If this matchup happens, I hope WWE books CM Punk to retain the WWE title. This year's Money in the Bank was a huge success because of their match. It would be much more successful if they book it again.

R-Truth

I know he is suspended but why can't he be in the title picture?

He is a great heel who deserves a title shot. It would be great to see a matchup between him and CM Punk. I can imagine the promos. 

Maybe he can prove the Little Jimmies wrong.

John Laurinaitis

Maybe? 

Possibly? 

Stupid? 

I don't think the WWE would go in this direction.
