WWE Rumors: The Miz Heading into the WWE Title Picture?

We all saw Mike "The Miz" Mizanin attack R-Truth last night. The "Awesome Truth" era is officially over for now. The two men will go in different directions.

Truth is going to be off of WWE TV for the next month. He has been suspended for 30 days, due to the WWE Wellness policy. It also looked as if he turned face.

The Miz is a totally different story. According to this report, creative has plans to insert him into the title picture over the next few months.

Michael Cole sure seemed to hint at that last night. Everybody should go back and watch the ending of Raw again and listen to the commentary. It seemed to set up The Miz being "serious" again in the WWE landscape.

As for heading towards the WWE title picture? Well, it can't be too shocking to find out.

WWE has already announced a WWE title match for next week's Raw show. Notice how nothing was made for the TLC PPV next month...

The other factor is top-level heels are not available right now. Alberto Del Rio is about to leave the title picture, in my opinion. Dolph Ziggler will get there soon, but I see no reason to rush him to the top right now. It is not needed.

Who does that leave? Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes are tearing up SmackDown. Mark Henry is the World heavyweight champion and is feuding with The Big Show.

CM Punk is going to need some new opponent, especially with WrestleMania 28 coming up. The Miz could be a perfect man to place against Punk in the next few weeks (if not months).

Outside of the next month, we all have January 2nd, 2012 to look forward to. "It Begins..."
