WWE Survivor Series 2011: Dolph Ziggler Deserves Main Event Push Immediately
While Dolph Ziggler does have the United States championship around his waist, it is time for WWE to do the right thing and give him the push that he so rightly deserves.
Ziggler has been WWE’s workhorse for the last two months, working multiple matches on the last two pay-per-views.
In addition to getting the most work on the shows, Ziggler has had some of the best matches. He and John Morrison had the best pure wrestling match at Survivor Series and Ziggler and CM Punk had a great match on Raw last night.

Ziggler is the best worker in the company right now and the fact that he has gotten better on the microphone should be helping his cause.
But, as is always the case with the WWE, because Ziggler has a small physique, there is a feeling that he should not be pushed over someone like Mason Ryan who is probably the worst worker on the roster.
Even at Survivor Series, after Ziggler had the great match with Morrison, he was eliminated from the 10-man tag team match in about one minute by Randy Orton. That was the WWE’s way of saying that Ziggler is the best of the lower-card workers, but he has no business playing with the big boys.
With Alberto Del Rio’s character being as dry as toast and Ziggler already proving that he can hang with Punk, why not elevate him to championship contention?
Ziggler doesn’t have to win the title. Just let him and Punk go at it for 15 to 20 minutes and have a match each week. That will be the best thing that WWE has done since Money In the Bank.
It is sadly not going to happen, at least not soon. But if ever there was a wrestler who deserved to be elevated above his current, mediocre spot, it is Dolph Ziggler. His work speaks for itself, and the fact that he is getting the chance to have longer matches on television proves that someone backstage is watching.
Fans need to start a new Twitter petition to get Ziggler a championship match at TLC or the Royal Rumble instead of supporting Zack Ryder’s hopeless cause.
