Green Bay Packers: Breaking Down Aaron Rodgers Chance at Undefeated Season
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are more than halfway to an undefeated regular season.
There have been some close calls, and they always say you can't go unbeaten without getting lucky a time or two, but the Green Bay Packers haven't needed luck.
The Packers have Aaron Rodgers.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
What the reigning Super Bowl MVP is doing this season is astonishing, and at 3.1 touchdowns per game he's on pace to tie Tom Brady's record season of 50 touchdown passes.
He's one of only two quarterbacks with a 70-plus completion percentage this season and the Packers lead the league with 35.5 points per game.
Their plus-12 turnover differential is second in the league and their plus-143 point differential is 32 points better than anyone else's in the league.
The Packers aren't just good, they are great.
Their remaining schedule looks like this:
Far from easy, but far from impossible to remain unbeaten.
This week's showdown with Detroit will be the first test. The upstart Lions are a good story at 7-3 and a serious postseason contender, but they've been exposed by legitimate NFC powers this season.
Rodgers won't hesitate and has given us no reason to believe he'll falter.
The showdown with the Giants would be more of a test if it wasn't at MetLife Stadium. Although 3-2 both at home and on the road this season, it is no secret that the Giants are better on the road in important games.
The December 4th showdown depends entirely upon which Giants offense shows up. If Big Blue thinks they can hang around and make their furious fourth quarter comeback, they'll be blown out by the Packers before they know what hit them.
A visit from the Raiders will test the Packers' toughness against the run, but ultimately Rodgers should easily out gun Oakland's secondary.
Green Bay's final three games, and their potential run at undefeated season, hinges on two things: the 49ers and the No. 1 seed.
If San Francisco continues to win football games then the Packers will have to continue battling for the No. 1 seed. If the 49ers drop one or two games down the stretch after they sew up the lowly NFC West, the Packers could consider resting starters for fear of injury.
The Chiefs will be smoked by a full-strength Packers squad in Week 15 and the Chicago Bears, if they are without Jay Cutler in Week 16, have to hope their defense dials up a dominant performance to even compete.
The Week 17 showdown all depends on the No. 1 seed and the Lions' potential for the postseason. We'll know more about these two teams on the field at the same time come Turkey Day.
There is too much uncertainty, and only one team has gone 16-0 since the season was lengthened, to say the Packers will definitely go unbeaten.
But Rodgers has led the Packers to 16 straight wins dating back to Week 16 of last season.
He's essentially already done it...What's to say he'll stop now?
