Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
When: Monday, November 21, 2011 8:15 p.m. ET
Watch: USA Network
Guest Host: Jonah Hill
Just when I thought I couldn’t get any less excited than I was for the show that Hugh Jackman hosted, the WWE pulls out all the stops and gets the action star…Jonah Hill? The comedian is pushing a movie called The Sitter which is like Triple H’s movie The Chaperone, but it doesn't suck nearly as hard I'm sure.
Raw Rumors
While there was no run-in last night, the likelihood that Triple H and former best friend Kevin Nash may meet face-to-face tonight on Raw is high. A local commercial advertising the show in Hersey, PA may have leaked the information.
"A localized commercial promoting Monday's Raw SuperShow in Hershey, Pennsylvania is advertising Kevin Nash and Triple H for the event. The narrator asks, "What will happen when Kevin Nash and Triple H are in the same building?"
"
With another boring PPV main event, the WWE needs all the help it can get. The feud between Triple H and Nash should be something to keep us interested.
The Rock and John Cena
After months of hyping up the match featuring The Rock and John Cena as tag-team partners, the main event of Survivor Series was one of the worst. The pace of the match was way too slow.
If it wasn’t for the huge nostalgia pop that The Rock got and the hate for John Cena no matter where he goes, that would have been a house show main event. Not Survivor Series.
Instead of furthering a storyline, the WWE stroked The Rock’s ego and allowed him to leave New York the hero while making look everyone under the sun look terrible. The Cena/Rock feud will continue to WrestleMania, so this Raw will start to answer some questions leading to their first and only battle.
The CM Punk Reign
After defeating Alberto del Rio in what was the best match of the night, CM Punk put on one of the best celebrations in the history of the WWE. Punk jumped into the crowd and enjoyed his new title with the people that put it around his waist.
ADR deserves much credit here because not only was the match extremely well worked from a technical standpoint, but it told a story. When was the last time that happened?
Now begins the CM Punk reign over the WWE. Let’s hope it’s much more fun to watch than it was when del Rio was boring us.
What’s Next for The Miz and R-Truth?
I thought that the lack of WWE making the duo of Awesome Truth look strong would kill the main event, but it was the lack of a true storyline and no real direction that made the main event horrible.
This should not be the end for this tag team because the charisma they have is real, almost as real as the heat they get from the crowd.
The duo needs to stay heel. The ultimate place for these two stars would be as two members of a heel stable. nWo?
Randy Orton Lost!
In what could have been the biggest surprise of the night, the WWE allowed the other golden boy Randy Orton to lose in the traditional Survivor Series match.
Instead of further putting over Orton, the WWE made the RIGHT choice and put over their two biggest heels on SmackDown besides Mark Henry; Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes.
With an injury to Christian, the company was desperate to make other stars look like strong heels. They did just that.
Dolph Ziggler and the US Title
The US Title picture got even more convoluted with the introduction of John Morrison as the No. 1 contender, but the WWE kept the foot on the Dolph Ziggler accelerator.
While they are pushing Ziggler hard, you can feel the inevitable Zack Ryder push coming. That should leave Ziggler on the outside looking in.
With no clear opponent for Cena while The Rock is out being a G.I. Joe, Ziggler could be a real candidate to go against the 10-time champion.
Sin Cara
It was during another botched move at Survivor Series that Sin Cara ruptured his patella tendon, according to WWE.com.
The run of Sin Cara might be over for good, but knowing WWE, he will be back as soon as he is healthy enough to compete.
If the WWE was smart, they would get the video from all of the great matches in WWE history and send those DVDs to Sin Cara so he learns how to wrestle during his vacation.
