WWE Survivor Series 2011: Will Mick Foley Make an Appearance at MSG?

Tom Urtz Jr.Nov 20, 2011

Mick Foley is a native New Yorker and loves the city. Madison Square Garden happens to be the grandest stage in all of sports. It has held prized boxing fights, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the NBA Playoffs, the NHL All-Star Game, the NBA All-Star Game, dog shows, tennis, concerts, and so much more.

Needless to say, Madison Square Garden will be the place to be tonight. The newly renovated Garden will host Survivor Series tonight. Foley made his long awaited return to WWE last Monday.

He exited the show after receiving a Rock Bottom from the People’s Champ.

Mick Foley will be in the area tonight as he is hosting a standup comedy show in the Big Apple. The gig starts at Midnight which happens to be an hour after the conclusion of Survivor Series. The question is, will he be involved.

The most likely angle to include Foley on the card would to have him referee the main event tag team match of Awesome Truth vs Cena and The Rock.

Foley would bring much more star power to the match and it could keep him involved in the storyline. Months ago, Mick Foley tweeted about the Raw GM. At the time it was still the Anonymous GM who was in charge.

Could Foley return to Monday nights as the Raw GM?

I'm certain that everyone is fed up with “Funkman" Johnny Ace in charge. Foley as the GM would bring some order to Raw and it would make things more interesting.

There was always a flair about Foley when he was in a position of power. The same reigned true when he was the Network Executive for TNA.

The best was when Foley was Commissioner of Raw back in the day. It only makes sense that Foley will show up tonight at Survivor Series. He could always just appear backstage in a small role but I have a feelings would rather see Mick in action.

Do you see Foley having a hands on role tonight? Do you think he will be sticking around Raw for the near future?

What would you like to see happen with Foley? Leave a comment, question, or prediction in the section below to get the conversation started.
