WWE Survivor Series 2011: How Will Kevin Nash Be Involved Tonight?

Tom Urtz Jr.Nov 20, 2011

Kevin Nash will be involved in some shape or form tonight. He has a knack of making his presence known—whether others want him or not. Since returning to Monday nights on a consistent basis, there has been no real purpose for Nash.

Yes, he has feuded with Triple H, but who honestly didn’t see that coming? The feud has personal fuel and plenty of television buildup from the past and the present. So, will Kevin Nash do the obvious thing tonight? Will he reform the NWO? Kevin Nash will be involved, but let's just examine a "what if" scenario.

What is the WWE’s main goal tonight? Their goal won’t be selling tickets because 18,200+ fans will pack the historic World’s Famous Arena that is Madison Square Garden. It won’t be about pay-per-view buy rates because everyone saw what adding The Rock to WrestleMania 27 did for buy rates.

Fans will religiously buy this event just to see The Rock have some limited in-ring action. It is both pathetic and sad that some die-hards will shell out $50 for about 20 to 30 minutes of action.

The main goal tonight is to put over John Cena and The Rock’s main event match in order to build tension and suspense for their April showdown in Miami. It seems like just yesterday it was the day after WrestleMania and the historic match was announced. Here we are now months later in November.

How could WWE make the feud carry over from tonight into April while keeping it fresh and relevant? Many have said that Cena should turn heel once and for all after his long face run. That could happen if Nash aligned himself with Cena and took out The Rock.

Think of all the fans who would tune in tomorrow night just to hear why Cena did what he did. Think of the months of build that could generate from a heel Cena verse a face Rock in his hometown of Miami, Florida.

A Kevin Nash involvement with Cena doesn’t necessarily have to involve the NWO, but it could be Nash just finishing some more business.

Nash has no real purpose being on Raw until Triple H returns from injury. It makes you wonder why WWE.com ran a story going back about the reincarnation of NWO. It seems like the most likely angle, but it wouldn’t surprise anyone.

How do you think Nash will be involved tonight? Will he reform the NWO? Will he drop Cena or will he drop The Rock? Could we go a pay-per-view without Nash sticking his nose in the main event?
