Tim Tebow Video: Watch Terrible "Moving Like Tebow" Rap Video

Andrew KulhaNov 19, 2011

I must warn you that the latest "rap" video paying homage to Heisman Trophy winner and current Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is just about as ugly as his throwing ability.

Watch this at your own risk.

I can find many ways that the "Moving Like Tebow" video is actually a whole lot like Tebow himself.

First off, it sucks.

As much as you have to respect the kid for trying, his attempt at being a rapper just isn't working.

Sure, he rhymed a bunch of words and put a bunch of clever phrases together regarding his favorite quarterback, but that doesn't make him a rapper, does it?

Rhyming rhythmically makes you as much as a rapper as lining up behind center for the Denver Broncos makes you a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Technically it makes sense, but anybody who knows anything about it can tell that something is horribly off.

Second, much like Tebow, "Moving Like Tebow" is incredibly cheesy.

The video constantly finds ways to annoy.

Whether he was "Tebowing", modeling jockey underwear, or performing a fake circumcision on a guy with hairy legs, it just left me feeling annoyed.

Understandably it's all for attention and obviously it has worked, but just like Tebow himself, it was just too much.

Most interesting though was the fact that, just like Tebow, "Moving Like Tebow" found a way to come through in the clutch.

Sure, it was horrible and cheesy, but for some reason I was bobbing my head throughout the song.

I was mildly amused at some of the scenes, and even found enjoyment in the fact that this guy was trying to "spit fire on the mic" like a legitimate rapper.

Perhaps he knew what he was doing, or perhaps like most Tebow fans, he just got too caught up in the hype to realize that in the end there is no long-term hope.

"Moving Like Tebow" turned out to be a terrific homage to its polarizing subject.

It sucked in every way, yet somehow it got the job done.
