WWE Survivor Series: The Rock's Return Will End in Defeat
Normally when a WWE star returns to the ring after a long absence, they are guaranteed to go over because it is a feel good story for the crowd to rally around. However, that will not be the case with The Rock at Survivor Series.
It is no secret that the outcome of the main event tag team match between Rock and John Cena against The Miz and R-Truth means nothing. If you watched any of the build to this show you could figure that out.
What is relevant, however, is the tension that has been building between Rock and Cena dating back to WrestleMania, when Rock cost Cena the WWE championship.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Now, in Rock's big return match at Madison Square Garden, it is time for Cena to get his revenge. If there is no revenge and they just go over clean, the build for WrestleMania will be off to a terrible start and WWE can't afford that.
Here is how I see the finish going: Rock will hit a Rock Bottom on Miz and set up for the People's Elbow, but as he bounces off the ropes, Cena clotheslines him and hits him with the Attitude Adjustment.
Calm down, IWC, it is not going to be a full heel turn for Cena. That would be the best move for everyone involved in the match.
Miz and Truth can claim a victory over Rock and Cena, even though they didn't actually do anything, and Rock and Cena can go at it for the next five months.
That is the dream scenario that I have for this match, which probably mean that WWE will go in the exact opposite direction and have Rock and Cena go over clean and just stare at each other when the show goes off the air.
But that's enough cynicism. I believe that Rock will lose at Survivor Series to kick-off the build to WrestleMania next April
