WWE 12: Adding Macho Man Randy Savage to Video Game Makes It a Must Own
For a long time, the Macho Man Randy Savage has been an afterthought with the management of the WWE. Now, sadly in his passing, it looks like the WWE is finally bringing Savage back into their company.
As the latest WWE video game WWE ‘12 is days away from hitting the stores, it has a plethora of reasons and legends as characters to play that would make you want to buy this game. However, with the latest news from THQ announcing that Savage is a downloadable character, it made the game go from “Yeah I should buy it” to “Holy crap, I have to own it now!”

Here is what THQ had to say about putting Savage as one of their downloadable characters.
"The "Macho Man" Randy Savage will be in WWE '12! Can you believe it? After years of requests from the WWE Games Universe demanding Savage's inclusion in the SvR franchise, we finally can meet that request in WWE '12.
"
So not only do you get to play as Savage in the game, but you get a custom Titan Tron and his ring attire from WrestleMania VII. Now you can finally have Savage face off against John Cena, Randy Orton and CM Punk.
Could you imagine what these two could have done in both of their primes? If you thought that Savage Steamboat at WrestleMania III was great, just think what Punk versus Savage would have been like.
Well, thanks to WWE ’12, you now can have a definitive answer to that age old question of who would win in a fight.
Having Savage in the video game is great. Now that it seems like he is getting his overdue respect from the WWE, maybe we can see a push to get the Macho Man into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
If he is one of this year’s inductees, it will be a bittersweet moment. It will be great that Savage is finally getting the respect he deserves. However, it will be sad because of his untimely passing earlier this year.
Until the Nov. 22 release date when you can officially download the Madness to your Xbox or Playstation 3, you can reminisce about Savage’s career through old clips on YouTube. While yelling throughout your home, “Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh Yeah Dig It!”
