WWE Survivor Series 2011: The Rock's Raw Return Will Set Tone for Epic PPV
The Rock is back—just in the nick of time. To say that the build for Survivor Series has been bad would be an understatement. WWE has managed to make Rock's return match feel as important as a match between Curt Hawkins and Primo.
But after weeks of lackluster and infuriating television, The Great One is coming back to Raw to inject the show with an energy that we haven't seen in months.
Especially if it leads to promos like this:

The Great One sounds like he is ready to electrify as only he can.
There has to be some sort of face-to-face meeting between Rock and his Survivor Series teammate, John Cena, because there are still many loose ends to their teaming up that need to be ironed out,
Of course, expecting WWE's creative team to provide answers is like waiting for a supermodel to show up at your door.
Cena has been teasing something going down between the two tonight.
But the real treat for fans will be the return of Mick Foley and the Rock-N-Sock Connection. They were one of the most unique and interesting tag teams in WWE history, and they had a chemistry together that few teams have ever had.
Oh, by the way, Rock will have something to say to The Miz and R-Truth. You remember them, right? They're the opponents for Rock and Cena at Survivor Series, though you can be forgiven if you forgot that, considering how they have been booked.
R-Truth thinks that he and Miz are going to give Rock and Cena a dose of their own medicine.
Regardless of what happens tonight—or how it happens—the only thing that matters is The Rock is back, which means that Raw will be must-see television
Any segment in which The Rock appears will be entertaining.
Survivor Series has been lacking momentum due to incredibly poor booking, but The Rock's return tonight can turn all that around.
Even if Miz and Truth don't come off looking like a strong team that can take down the almighty Rock and Cena, at least the fans will have some laughs and moments to remember as we officially kick off the Road to WrestleMania.
Remember, Survivor Series has traditionally been when the build for WrestleMania starts, so we are going to see a lot of subtle hints and foreshadowing about the direction WWE is going to go for that show.
The Rock will make tonight's Raw worth your three hours—and the build for Survivor Series can finally begin.
