WWE Rumors: The Muppets Returning To WWE for Wrestle Mania 28?

WWE and The Muppets working together again? Oh yes, I hope this is true. Please let this happen. I promise I will be a good boy next year, Santa!

According to this report, WWE and The Muppets may not be done with each other just yet. Not only is Hornswoggle going to their movie premiere, there is talk for having the Muppets return to a WWE stage.

For those who need a comparison, think of Pee Wee Herman! He hosted WWE Raw last year and was brought back for a cameo at Wrestle Mania 27 in a backstage segment with The Rock. Great moment there folks!

My thoughts on this rumor?

I love it! For those who read my work, I called the "Raw is Muppets" the greatest Raw of all time! Being a Muppets fan will cloud your judgment, what can I say?

A stage like WrestleMania in Miami would be a perfect for a few reasons. Here they are:

1. It would be perfect timing. How long does a movie usually wait before coming out on DVD? A few months after the theatrical release! Guess what? In six months, the Muppets move will be released on DVD, so why not team up with WWE again and promote it? Makes perfect sense to me!

2. The Muppets would be great choices for the WWE Hall of Fame. They have a celebrity wing for a reason folks! I already have my name in the "Snooki for WWE HOF" hat!

3. We need to see a match! I do not care how it happens. It can be backstage or it can be magically in the middle of the squared circle. Muppets should get a match at Wrestle Mania. How epic would that be?

A show down with Jack Swagger? A battle with Zack Ryder for some comedy relief? If Snooki can't return, I vote for Kermit doing a frog splash!

As you can see, I am all for this happening. It is harmless fun on the biggest event of the year! At the end of the day, isn't that what this business is all about?
