WWE News: WWE Reportedly Building Toward Huge Divas Feud
Telling you that the Divas division hasn’t meant much over the past few years is like telling you that Michael Cole is extremely annoying—you already know it.
I’ve taken a bit of a pessimistic stance on the Divas in general, largely because I just don’t think that WWE officials cared about the way they book them and because the company has let some of the more talented ones—Mickie James, Melina, Maryse, Jillian, etc.—go over the past couple of years while holding on to plenty of the not-so-talented ones.
And, now with Kharma sidelined for the better part of a year, there’s only one real Divas feud that I want to see. It looks like it could come to fruition, too.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via WrestleNewz.com), "WWE is building towards a feud between Natalya and Beth Phoenix over the Divas Title."
Please make it happen, WWE.
While I’ve enjoyed watching the “Sisters of Salvation” work together over the past few months, their partnership really hasn’t done all that much for Natalya. She basically loses TV matches to Beth Phoenix’s opponents before Beth beats them on pay-per-view, which shouldn’t be happening considering that Natalya can wrestle circles around the girls she’s losing to.
The one saving grace of the pairing of Beth and Natalya, however, is that we can all see that it is leading to an eventual Divas Championship feud between the two.
That could be exactly what the Divas division needs to get back on track.
Beth and Natalya are the two most talented Divas in the division. Hands down.
As much as we all like to beg for watchable Divas matches, they might be the only two Divas who can put on bouts that will make us say, “Damn, that was awesome.”
If I was booking the Divas, I’d have Beth turn on Natalya (or vice versa) leading up to the Royal Rumble, and then have Kharma return once that feud ends in order to ignite a rivalry with whoever’s holding the Divas Championship.
Instantly, the Divas division would go from afterthought to integral part of the WWE.
