NFL Power Rankings: Biggest Surprises of Week 9 That Turned Heads
We tend to predict football games on paper, because that is really all we have.
But, as the saying goes, "That's why you play the game."
In Week 9 of the NFL season, there were some true shockers that rattled the favorites and had the underdogs jumping up in the air and clicking their heels.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are the biggest surprises of Week 9 that sent favorites plummeting down the power rankings and underdogs rising.
3. New York Jets defeat Buffalo Bills, 27-11
Coming into this game, I figured Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick would struggle, simply based on the fact that the Jets have a very good pass defense.
But I still believed the Bills, with an apparently improving pass rush and running back Fred Jackson, would come out on top at home.
Instead, they were embarrassed at home and had some wondering, including me, if they really were for real.
The Bills defense is still a question mark, allowing the previously struggling Mark Sanchez to complete 71.4 percent of his passes on Sunday. Sanchez was also sacked just once.
2. Denver Broncos defeat Oakland Raiders, 38-24
Tim Tebow has a system.
He decided to be horrible early on in games and boost the Broncos to victory at the end.
Tebow was 3-of-13 at one point on Sunday, then went 7-of-8 to lead the Broncos over the Raiders.
He also had 118 rushing yards, while running back Willis McGahee rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
Think the Raiders need some help on rush defense?
New quarterback Carson Palmer also continues to throw a bevy of interceptions (although he did produce as well on Sunday). And the secondary is clearly hurting from the loss of Nnamdi Asomugha. If Tebow wasn't the quarterback, that pass defense would have gotten torched, given that Tebow missed a variety of wide open receivers.
The Broncos outscored the Raiders, 31-7, in the second half. So much for the Black Hole being an advantage.
1. Miami Dolphins defeat Kansas City Chiefs, 31-3
Look, I know the Chiefs lost star running back Jamaal Charles to injury, but there is absolutely no way they should have lost to the Dolphins, much less get blown out.
The Chiefs appeared to be getting back on track before Week 9's matchup, winners of their last four games.
Quarterback Matt Cassel completed just 51 percent of his passes while getting sacked five times and the pass defense allowed Matt Moore to pass for 244 yards and three touchdowns and Reggie Bush to rush for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Everyone is to blame on this team, and head coach Todd Haley should be fired.
