WWE Preview: 7 Ways Daniel Bryan Can Defeat Mark Henry for the World Title

As we wait for the expected push of Daniel Bryan to begin, WWE fans are eager to see how it will play out.

Because Mark Henry is the current World Heavyweight Champion and is not expected to lose the title any time soon, we will make the assumption that he will cross paths with Daniel Bryan before WrestleMania 28.

Today, we look at seven scenarios where Daniel Bryan challenges, and then captures, the world title from Mark Henry. This list is based on current WWE storylines.

Daniel Bryan: Submission Expert

We have seen some pretty innovative holds from WWE's resident submission expert.

Daniel Bryan might not to be able to lift Henry off the ground and slam him, but he can do the next best thing: wear him down. If you look at their match on the Nov. 4 episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan did some impressive submissions.

In a match, I doubt Mark Henry would submit. However, if he's unable to respond, he could lose the championship.

Daniel Bryan Gets A Finisher

Every superstar has that one move that is their signature move. That move is unique for every superstar and is normally signals the end to a match.

Oddly though, Daniel Bryan does not technically have a finishing move. All Daniel Bryan has is a list of submission moves.

I don't expect Daniel Bryan to have a move like the "AA" or a Chokeslam, but maybe something as simple as a specialized DDT. Mark Henry would not see it coming and it could serve as Daniel Bryan's pocket aces.

Gimmick Match

What better way to get an advantage against a big man then by having the match include gimmicks!

At Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan defeated 7 other superstars to become Mr. Money in the Bank. Imagine seeing Daniel Bryan face Mark Henry in a TLC match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Mark Henry can claim that he will induct Daniel Bryan into his Hall of Pain while Daniel Bryan can claim that Mark Henry can't defeat him in a TLC match.

That would be must see TV!

Cash in MITB

Like previous MITB holders, Daniel Bryan has the opportunity to cash in at any time. These cash in might not be expected, but they are always a big deal when they do occur.

For example:

WWE has been working tirelessly to make Survivor Series 2011 one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year. What better way to make it must see than having Daniel Bryan cash in! Just imagine...

It is Survivor Series, and Mark Henry has just defeated Big Show to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Afterward, Kane makes his long awaited return and lays out Mark Henry.

As Kane is walking up the ramp, Daniel Bryan makes his way running with the briefcase. He enters the ring and the referee signals for the bell to be rung. Daniel Bryan capitalizes on the wounded Mark Henry and gets the three count.

Mark Henry can begin his feud with Kane, and Daniel Bryan can begin a feud with another SmackDown heel like Christian, Wade Barrett or Cody Rhodes.

Daniel Bryan Cheats

While this doesn't seem very likely, it does hold some merit.

If WWE wanted to turn Daniel Bryan heel, this would be the way to do it. WWE fans are expecting him to keep his word and cash in at Wrestlemania. When he cheats his way to a victory, it could begin a slow turn to the dark side.

Take the Fight Outside the Ring

This is one option that Daniel Bryan would, could, and should use to defeat Mark Henry.

Mark Henry is one of the largest superstars currently in the WWE. Because of his size, it might be too hard for Daniel Bryan to keep the fight in the ring.

That is why Daniel Bryan needs to knock Mark Henry out of the ring and do some serious damage. That way, when they re-enter the ring, Daniel Bryan can capitalize.

Wrestlemania 28: Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry

Perhaps WWE was serious about Daniel Bryan holding the briefcase until Wrestlemania. That means that Daniel Bryan gets a 1-1 match against the World Heavyweight Champion.

It is not clear whether or not this match will take place as the main World Heavyweight Championship match or it will be an after-match cash in.

If it is an after-match cash in, the element of surprise would be taken away from Daniel Bryan. However, Mark Henry would still be weakened by however his opponent was. After a brief match, Daniel Bryan can finally get the world title.
