WWE Survivor Series 2011: Team Orton vs. Team Barrett Announced
Just a quick blurb. WWE.com made an announcement for a new match for the Survivor Series pay-per-view, which is about two weeks away.
They announced that "Team Orton," which will comprise former World champions Randy Orton and Sheamus, Tag-Team champion Kofi Kingston, Sin Cara and strongman Mason Ryan. "Team Barrett" will be made up Wade Barrett, Hunico, Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes, Christian and Jack Swagger.
True to form for the "Thanksgiving Tradition," the match capitalizes on existing and burgeoning feuds. The match will be the standard Survivor Series 5-on-5 Tag-Team Elimination match.

On paper, the match should be a good one, with a nice mix of high-flying and strongman styles.
What's interesting to note is that two high-profile wrestlers that could have been logically involved in this match weren't announced for it. Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler look the be resuming their feud at Survivor Series at this point. The current angle resides in cyberspace, with Ryder collecting signatures for his online petition to take on Ziggler for the United States Title.

John Cena and The Rock vs. Awesome Truth
CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Title
Big Show vs. Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Title
Eve vs. Beth Phoenix for the WWE Diva's Title.
Survivor Series is available on pay-per-view from Madison Square Garden on Sunday, November 20th.
