Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
3. New York Jets (5-3)
The Jets have been a tough team to figure out this season.
Their losses were ugly and their wins appeared to simply come against bad football teams.
But with their 27-11 blowout of the Buffalo Bills in Week 9 after a bye, the Jets have once again inserted themselves into the playoff picture.
The Jets will always have a chance to win given their formidable pass defense, but their offense came alive against the Bills, and they are going to need more of that if they expect to go far this season.
Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled mightily and running back Fred Jackson wasn't as big a game-changer as he had been this season.
Rex Ryan's curious band of misfits are at it again—just in time for a Week 10 showdown with the New England Patriots.
2. New York Giants (6-2)
To say the Giants' victory over the Patriots was a surprise would be an understatement.
The Giants were without star receiver Hakeem Nicks, star running back Ahmad Bradshaw and starting center David Baas, yet somehow, somehow, they managed to knock off the vaunted Patriots.
The Giants forced four turnovers, including two interceptions from Tom Brady, and rookie tight end Jake Ballard had the biggest game of his young career, racking up 67 yards and the game-winning touchdown catch with 15 seconds left.
They have a big showdown against the 7-1 49ers in San Francisco next week.
1. Baltimore Ravens (6-2)
This is why the Steelers vs. Ravens rivalry is always a joy to watch.
After two lackluster games against the Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals, you fully expected the Ravens to cough up Week 9's game against a Steelers team that had just beaten the Patriots.
But this is no ordinary rivalry. These two teams come ready to play when they match up, regardless of their standing, and the Ravens were up to the task at Heinz Field.
Quarterback Joe Flacco got back on track with 314 passing yards and a touchdown and rookie receiver Torrey Smith hauled in the game-winning touchdown pass with eight seconds remaining in the game.
The Ravens face the forgiving Seattle Seahawks in Week 10, and they will surely soar over these birds.
