Rangers vs. Cardinals: World Series 2011 Can Only Get Better After Epic Game 6
If you are a fan of things that are epic and down-right awesome, you probably found something to enjoy about Game 6, featuring the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers.
The World Series marathon game featured pretty much everything: timely hitting, errors, defensive gems, smile, laughs, cringes and everything in between.
Here are the two overlying sentiments after Game 6: 1. Apparently that game was epic because that is the only word that has been attributed to it. I would rather call it "awesome" or "radical." Any word that emotes pure pleasure will do; and 2. Game 7 is doomed to fail.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
Like Bill Buckner's Game 6, we are destined to forget what happens in Game 7, but I would disagree. This thing is just getting good. I join every other baseball purist that I spoke with this week in agreeing this is one of the best series in recent memory.
Both teams are evenly matched, but more than that, they seem to be in sync with one another, tied to the other like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito in Twins. If one plays well, the other follow, if one falters...well, we saw how that worked out Thursday night.
Game 6 was a microcosm of what any baseball game could be. It started as the ugliest gaffe-fest of all time. Errors piled on top of one another and there seemed to be no end in sight.
Both teams were horrible. However, once the Rangers got their feet, the Cardinals followed. If the Rangers put up two runs in the ninth, the Cards said, "Oh, yeah, well, we will do the same thing."
And so it went.
Each team matching the other in poise and talent. Two great counterpunchers were in the ring, and this was going extra rounds.
How can you possibly doubt Game 7 will be anything but phenomenal? Every game has been proof that baseball does high drama very well.
You say we can't possibly see this type of entertainment on Friday. I say we haven't seen anything yet. Game 7 is about to put a cherry on the best damned World Series sundae I have ever tasted.
