Browns vs. 49ers: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio, Game Time and More
If you were to ask 10 people before the NFL season if a Week 8 matchup between the Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers would be a big deal, probably eight out of those 10 would say no.
Although the 49ers recently acquired former Stanford coach Jim Harbuagh, most saw the team as a growing project.
The Browns, on the other hand, were getting some intense preseason hype, especially with quarterback Colt McCoy looking so good.

What's At Stake?
The 49ers are trying to prove that their hot start is legitimate and that they deserve to be named among the best in the league. A win at home against an inferior team would go a long way.
Browns Injury Report: Kicker Phil Dawson questionable (thigh), running back Peyton Hillis probable (hamstring), wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi questionable (concussion), tight end Benjamin Watson questionable (concussion).
49ers Injury Report: Wide receiver Braylon Edwards questionable (knee) defensive back Tramaine Brock questionable (hand), running back Moran Norris questionable (fibula), quarterback Scott Tolzien questionable (undisclosed), defensive lineman Ian Williams questionable (undisclosed).
Fantasy Start 'Em, Sit 'Em and Sleeper:
Start: Alex Smith has been exceptional as of late. Believe it or not, I think he may finally be realizing his potential. I like him as a fantasy starter in this matchup.
Sit: If you're still holding out for Peyton Hillis to come around, I wouldn't hold your breath. They are saying he's going to play, but with this odd contract situation it's not worth the risk.
Sleeper: I really liked Colt McCoy coming into this year. Even though he's been disappointing, I still think he can put up some good numbers.
Jamison Hensley of ESPN is writing that the Browns are committed to Peyton Hillis for now. Hillis is looking for a new contract before he hits free agency, but so far the talks have gone sour between the two sides.
Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer writes about how 49ers coach Jim Harbuagh's fiery attitude has sparked this team to such a hot start.
Browns Player to Watch:
Hillis coming back means that running back Montario Hardesty may be losing out on snaps. He is coming off a 95-yard game, and many believe he could be the back of the future for the Browns. It will be interesting to see if, and how, they split carries.
49ers Player to Watch:
Alex Smith is finally achieving the full potential than many thought he had when he first came into the league. It will be interesting to see how he continues to learn and grow under Jim Harbaugh.
Key Matchup:
How is Colt McCoy going to hold up against this aggressive and tough 49ers defense? He's the key to a Browns win, but they might not even give him a chance.
On the Hotseat:
I believe McCoy is on the hotseat. I'm not the only person who expected him to do well this year, but so far he's been a disappointment. Cleveland fans have to be wondering if he is the guy moving into the future.
Prediction:
Jim Harbuagh and the 49ers keep on rolling.
