Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings: Darren McFadden and Top 4 RBs
Although the matchups may not appear to be there, while a few other stud RBs are on a bye, these ground warriors will still do some work this week.
All four are familiar, but their matchups may appear sketchy and/or like a trap game.
4. Rashard Mendenhall, Steelers (at Cardinals)

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Last week, Mendenhall ran all over a pretty good Jaguars defense at home. This week, the Steelers travel to Arizona and play a desperate Cardinals team with a sad defense all over.
There's no reason why Rashard won't dominate in Week 7. If Arizona has decent defenders anywhere, it's in the secondary. That should deter coach Mike Tomlin from throwing the ball more than rushing.
In turn, Mendenhall leads the Pittsburgh offense with 130 total yards and scores two TDs.
3. Adrian Peterson, Vikings (vs. Packers)
Although the Green Bay Packers have a solid rush defense, their pass defense is still very weak. To that end, there appears to be a correlation. Perhaps the Packers only have a high-ranked rush defense because no one bothers to run the ball against them, seeing as though their pass defense is vulnerable.
Therefore, you have to anticipate a big game from Vikings RB Adrian Peterson. Not only will he be the best RB that Green Bay has faced through seven weeks, but he will be the best RB they face this season.
Even with a bad passing attack, the Vikings can still run the ball well—don't expect anything different from a team that has nothing to lose, either way.
By game's end, Peterson should have compiled around 175 total yards and scored two TDs.
2. Michael Turner, Falcons (at Lions)
Falcons RB Michael Turner has been the focus of Atlanta's offense all season long. QB Matt Ryan has played inconsistently and they've had some injuries, but are only 3-3 overall.
Nonetheless, Turner has been their most reliable player. Furthermore, after what San Francisco RB Frank Gore did against Detroit last week, Turner has the potential to do the same.
In addition, Atlanta does have a better offense than the 49ers. So, although Turner may not eclipse 100 yards on the ground, he'll also get some solid receiving yards.
Overall, expect Michael Turner to go for almost 200 total yards and score two TDs.
1. Darren McFadden, Raiders (vs. Chiefs)
Sure, the Chiefs may have been able to sort of slow down Vikings RB Adrian Peterson. However, seeing as though this is a crucial division game for Oakland, Darren McFadden is certain to roll.
The acquisition of QB Carson Palmer will also give the Raiders more of a threat in the passing game, so don't anticipate Kansas City to stack the box.
Obviously, that plays into Oakland's favor, what with Run DMC in the backfield. Don't be surprised if he amasses over 100 yards receiving, either. No LB, DE dropping into coverage or nickel/dime back is going to be able to cover McFadden.
Accounting for over 200 total yards and scoring three TDs is quite possible for him in Week 7.
