NFL Predictions Week 7: Drew Brees and 10 QBs Sure to Slaughter Secondaries
The aerial circus that was the first six weeks of the season has slowly glided back to Earth, as the number of 300- and 400-yard passing games has dwindled back to a more reasonable range.
However, Week 7 still has plenty of good passing matchups that could produce big yardage totals.
Here's the best candidates:

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Drew Brees, Saints
Brees has been posting yards totals at a historic rate, but the interceptions—eight in four games—is troubling. The yards and completions are going to be there every week despite turnovers or the opponent, however. Brees is a safe bet for 25-plus completions and 300 yards this week against the lowly Colts.
Aaron Rodgers, Packers
Rodgers has been a monster indoors, especially recently. In his past 10 games in indoor stadiums—including two in the playoffs last season—nine of them have finished with Rodgers having a passer rating over 110. He also has 31 touchdowns and over 4,400 yards in 15 career games indoors. When the Packers head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in the Metrodome, expect more of the same.
Matthew Stafford, Lions
After a down day against the 49ers' defense, Stafford looks to bounce back against the Falcons at home. Atlanta's secondary has been suspect all season, and the Lions might be forced to throw more this week with Jahvid Best on the shelf. Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan already throws enough for Stafford to be a safe bet for big numbers.
Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
One of the more underrated combinations this season has been Ben Roethlisberger to Mike Wallace. Of Roethlisberger's nine touchdown passes in 2011, four have gone to Wallace. Expect that duo to hook up again this week, as the Steelers take on the Cardinals and their struggling defense.
Tony Romo, Cowboys
The Rams' defense can be had both with the run and the pass, but the Cowboys might be leaning more on Romo this Sunday with Felix Jones out. Romo is no Aaron Rodgers, but the Packers' quarterback nearly had 300 yards with three scores in the first half last Sunday. Romo will be big at home.
Matt Cassel, Chiefs
Cassel is the surprise name on this list. While the Raiders' defense isn't the best matchup, I expect the Chiefs to be down in this game. Cassel has actually been considerably better in recent weeks, too. The Raiders' secondary has plenty of question marks for Dwayne Bowe and Steve Breaston to exploit.
