Jim Harbaugh-Jim Schwartz Fight: Twitter World Reacts to Coaches' Skirmish
San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and Detroit Lions lead man Jim Schwartz set off a minor brawl after Harbaugh celebrated the victory and Schwartz didn't take kindly to it, shouting at Harbaugh after a post-game handshake.
As usual, Twitter exploded following the skirmish.
Harbaugh had built up a lot of momentum from jumping up and down on his way to shake Schwartz's hand, so it's not surprising the disgruntled Lions coach would take offense to it. The two teams proceeded to have a showdown right in front of the tunnel.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
ESPN's John Buccigross favors the Lions' coach in a wrestling match after his team suffered its first loss of the season on Sunday. Not so fast, Bucci. Harbaugh is 6'3'' and wouldn't be backing down from any fights. Plus, if Schwartz can't handle a simple shake of the hands, how will be react to an actual battle?
Prisco nails this one on the head (typo aside). Both sides are to blame in this situation. There's a lot of emotion built up over 60 minutes, and both coaches will probably express regret over the situation in the future, especially when it gets played repeatedly throughout the week.
The one thing Schwartz probably will think about later is how overjoyed he is after wins. Harbaugh didn't mean any harm and when your adrenaline in pumping after a big win, you tend to lose your bearings a little bit. There's no reason the situation should have been blown out of proportion between the two coaches.
That quote from the 49ers head coach backs up what I mentioned above—he didn't know how hard the handshake and back-slap was until Schwartz snapped back. By taking full blame for the incident, Harbaugh is trying to sweep the issue under the rug so his team's big win can get the respect it deserves. That was a big win on the road against a previously undefeated team.
