Pittsburgh Steelers: How Is Troy Polamalu's Injured Head?
Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu suffered a head injury late in the Steelers' 17-13 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Polamalu, the 2010 Defensive Player of the Year, was taken out of the game in the fourth quarter when he tackled Jaguars star running back Maurice Jones-Drew.
Given the Steelers' defense was already down James Harrison, this is certainly not good news for Steelers fans.

Injury Update
According to NFL.com, Polamalu showed concussion-like symptoms after the hit in the fourth quarter.
Said head coach Mike Tomlin,"We erred on the side of caution there. We'll evaluate him to see where he is."
Polamalu stood on the sidelines with his helmet on after being taken out of the game.
When's He Ready to Return?
It's still unknown how long Polamalu will be out. Concussions generally keep players out at least one to two weeks if severe enough, especially given the NFL's more dedicated approach to handling head injuries.
Fantasy Impact
If you own the Steelers defense, this could have a major impact on the field and from a fantasy standpoint.
The Steelers' defense has already been shades of what it was last season, averaging 5.80 fantasy points per game—near the bottom of the NFL. The defense has been able limit opponents to just 16.6 points per game, but they haven't racked up a lot of turnovers and have had more trouble stopping the run than in previous years.
For a defense minus James Harrison that also saw safety Ryan Clark go down to injury on Sunday, it's not advised to use the Steelers' defense right now.
What They're Saying
Pittsburgh reporter and talk-show host Chris Gates is reporting that Polamalu did indeed suffer a concussion on Sunday:
