Fantasy Football Week 6 Projections: Will Cam Newton Rack Up Major Points?
Hater or not, what has Cam Newton, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, done so far in his career that makes you think he won't have a monster game?
Nothing.
Newton is already one of the premier fantasy quarterbacks in the league for many reasons.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He has exceeded all expectations as a pure pocket passer, throwing for an average of 322 yards per game, with seven touchdown passes so far.
We knew the kid could run and he's currently tied with Fred Jackson, LeSean McCoy and BenJarvus Green-Ellis with five rushing scores.
He's not Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady or Mike Vick—he's a new kind of athlete we've never before seen play the quarterback position .
This week, Newton faces an Atlanta Falcons defense that has been surprisingly bad this season. They are surrendering 294 yards through the air in each game.
You think Newton will have much trouble throwing for close to 300 yards?
I don't.
The Falcons do have a solid pass rush—they've registered a respectable nine sacks on the season, but that plays right into Newton's hands.
Rather, his legs.
His scrambling ability will allow him to create plays outside the pocket and pick up valuable fantasy points on the ground.
Newton is also the team's goal-line running back. Essentially, any time the Panthers score—outside of a long run from DeAngelo Williams or Jonathan Stewart—Newton plays a role.
Why doubt him as a fantasy quarterback right now? I don't see him having a bad game against a weak Falcons secondary on Sunday.
This game should be a shootout in the Georgia Dome, so I like Newton to have another huge day to add to his Rookie of the Year campaign.
He's a must-start.
