Fantasy Football Week 6 Rankings: Jason Witten and the Top 5 TEs
They aren't producing at the same rate they did in 2010, but you cannot forget about your tight end if you consider yourself a solid fantasy owner.
Week 6 provides a few tight ends with very favorable matchups, which could yield some big time point production.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
When isn't he a top tight end option?
Rarely.
This week, against the Patriots 32nd-ranked pass defense, Witten is the top tight end in my opinion. He slightly beats out the next guy on this list.
Tony Romo has his full compliment of wideouts back, but I still like Witten to catch between five and nine passes and accumulate close to 100 yards with a touchdown.
Jimmy Graham, New Orleans Saints
He'll be on this list every week.
Graham has blossomed into an elite tight end and utilizes all his basketball skills each week.
The Buccaneers will drop their linebackers down the seam in an attempt to stymie Graham, but that doesn't matter. His leaping ability and soft hands allow him to catch balls when he's tightly covered.
Vernon Davis, San Francisco 49ers
In the battle of the upstarts, the 49ers will use Davis early and often. Detroit will get pressure on Alex Smith with their front four and via a variety of blitzes, which will leave Davis as a great security blanket.
When he does have time, expect Smith to look for Davis down the seam and in the red zone. After all, none of his wide receivers have stepped forward to become a true No. 1 target.
Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers
Yes, Cam Newton loves throwing to Steve Smith, and the veteran receiver is experiencing a fine resurgence.
However, the No. 1 overall pick also loves his tight ends—Greg Olsen, in particular. The former Bears star has 20 catches and three touchdowns on the season so far.
Against a surprisingly bad Falcons secondary, Newton should look for Olsen early and often.
Jermichael Finley, Green Bay Packers
Finley is in that "young yet already elite" group of tight ends with Jimmy Graham and is facing a terrible St. Louis Rams defense this week.
The Packers should get out to a huge lead in this one. As a result of that, I'm just not sure they need to utilize Finley for the majority of the game.
Still, he could easily have a 100-yard game with a touchdown.
He's that talented and his quarterback is pretty good, too.
