NFL Community Challenge Week 13 Results

Andrew KneelandDec 4, 2008

First off, we would like to offer our sincere apologizes because of the tardiness of this weekly feature. It's not that there wasn't any good stuff to pick and choose from, just that real-life got in the way for a few days. Don't you hate it when that happens? Anyway...

Thanks to the entire NFL Community for an extremely successful week in this contest! If you were not aware, here is a recap of the rules.

The award for best overall community here on Bleacher Report goes to the Baltimore Ravens.

They produced not only in quality, but in quantity. There were well-written pieces, humorous articles, and very informative roundtables. A job well done, Baltimore!

The best written category was extremely hard to decide. There were countless brilliant pieces here on B/R, and all should be deserving of something. We picked Luke Jones's article, "Baltimore Ravens: Serious Contenders or Happy to Be in the Hunt?," and Casey Drottar's piece examining where the Cleveland Browns went wrong.

We named Luke Jones as the Best Overall Writer of the week because of the above article as well as a handful more. Be sure to catch up on everything Ravens in his archive

Roundtables are a very quick way of finding other fans' opinions before and after the big game. The winner of this week's best roundtable goes to the Baltimore Ravens, headed up by Community Leader Luke Jones. Also in on the fun were the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks, NFC North, and Fantasy Gurus. Great work everyone!

The best discussion of the week took place on this piece, entitled "The Denver Broncos Should Be Fined For Faking Injuries Against the New York Jets." This was written by Angel Navedo.

Worthy of mention in the preview and prediction category are the tireless efforts of The Roundtable. An extremely thorough Week 13 preview was provided, and fantasy owners across the world rejoiced! Thanks guys!

In the humor/original articles category, there was one that really impressed us. The article "Athletes Who Could Be Identical Twins" won the award. Excellent work, Bryn Swartz!

The award for most articles goes to the New York Giants, breaking the streak of teams who played on Thursday. According to our engineers they have pumped out the most material this past week. Nice work, guys!

Congrats to the winners and here's to a very successful Week 14! Just as a reminder, these contest results will appear on the Front Page and will receive loads of attention.

Make sure to keep trying your best to get mentioned here so you can further your exposure to the sporting world!
