Fantasy Football Week 6: Aaron Rodgers and Other QBs Who Will Keep Rolling
I don't know if you've noticed, but Week 6 looks like it's going to be a little rough on quarterbacks. Many of them have tough matchups on their hands, and a great many fantasy games will be lost because of that.
Fortunately, not all owners have to be worried. The QB position is probably the only set-it-and-forget-it position in fantasy, and that's especially true of the owners who are lucky to own one of the league's best quarterbacks.
In Week 6, there are five top quarterbacks in particular who I think are going to keep on as they've been keeping on.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
5. Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions
There are a lot of annoying people in this world, but the dude in your league who decided to gamble on Matthew Stafford this year is probably the most annoying person of them all. But hey, you would brag too if you were him.
That dude is going to keep bragging this weekend. Stafford and the Lions have a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, but the good news is that the best way to beat the Niners is by taking to the air.
As it usually does, this strategy will manifest itself in a couple touchdown passes to Calvin Johnson. Megatron will get all the credit, but the important part is that Stafford will get points.
Is it cool if we start calling Stafford "Starscream?"
4. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
It's almost boring how good Drew Brees is.
Almost.
No matter how much you delight in Brees' quarterbacking, his fantasy owners will most likely be delighting in Brees' production against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The Buccaneers have respectable numbers against the pass, but they've allowed a total of five touchdown passes in the last two weeks against Curtis Painter and Alex Smith.
Brees is twice the quarterback those two guys are, so... 10 touchdown passes? We'll see.
3. Tom Brady, New England Patriots
When I grow up, I want to be just like Tom Brady.
This despite the fact I am grown up. He's that amazing.
At any rate, it's worth noting that Brady and the Pats will be squaring off against a pretty good Dallas Cowboys team on Sunday. They have been very tough on opposing passers, and are generally good for one interception a game.
But this is Tom Brady we're talking about. Expect him to do his typical Tom Brady thing, which will once again feature a heavy dose of Wes Welker, football's answer to Squeak Scolari.
2. Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers
Panthers fans and Auburn alums may never get tired at thumbing their nose at the rest of us, the nonbelievers. Surely we should have known that Cam Newton was going to be great.
Immaterial. The point is that he is great, and he will continue to be just that on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
We know this because the Falcons rank 28th in the NFL against the pass. They've also allowed 300-yard passers in back-to-back weeks.
One of those was Aaron Rodgers, which is not so bad. The other was Tarvaris Jackson, which is bad.
1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Words really can't describe just how awesome Aaron Rodgers is.
Actually, "awesome" does the job pretty well.
You can rest assured that Rodgers will continue to be awesome this weekend against the St. Louis Rams. The Rams do have decent numbers against the pass, but they can thank Rex Grossman and Eli Manning for that.
Rodgers will not be so generous. He's failed to pass for 300 yards just once this season. In that game, he passed for 297 yards and three touchdowns.
Like I said, awesome.
