Fantasy Football Week 6 Rankings: Wes Welker and the Top 10 WRs
For Week 6 of the NFL season, the top 10 fantasy receivers are as follows:
1. Wes Welker, Patriots
Welker went to Revis Island in Week 5 and came home with 124 yards. Nothing can stop this guy from putting up big numbers during a given week. Welker's on pace for almost 2,400 yards receiving, and the Cowboys should offer little in the form of resistance.

2. Calvin Johnson, Lions
Johnson has some Randy Moss in him right now, where every week he is a threat to go off. Through five weeks, that's exactly what he's done. Johnson is as safe a play as Welker right now, even against a suffocating 49ers defense.
3. Hakeem Nicks, Giants
Nicks is overlooked in terms of fantasy football, but all he does is produce each week. The Bills intercept plenty of passes on defense, but they also give up boatloads of yards and receptions. Nicks will take advantage of both on Sunday.
4. Greg Jennings, Packers
With a quarterback that is as hot as Aaron Rodgers, Jennings is a safe play every week. He already has four scores on the year and the Rams don't have a cornerback on the roster that can match his skill set. The Packers will be up in this game, but Jennings should be a big part of the reason for it.
5. Steve Smith, Panthers
Save for one hiccup in Week 3, Smith has been in Welker's class in terms of production. He's obviously thriving off the emergence of Cam Newton, and there's no reason to think that stops when the Panthers take on the Falcons.
6. A.J. Green, Bengals
Forget that Green is a rookie, he can flat out play. He's been over 200 yards with a score over his last two games. Having a rookie quarterback still gives him a touch of risk, but I like the matchup with the Colts, who are fresh off giving up four scores to the Chiefs passing offense.
7. Roddy White, Falcons
The Panthers are more susceptible to the run than the pass, but White should have plenty of opportunities to make a splash in Week 6. Owners are hoping so, at least, as White has been quiet in 2011. With Julio Jones likely out, expect White to see plenty of passes.
8. Mike Wallace, Steelers
Wallace has been over 75 yards in all five of the Steelers games in 2011, and he got back into the end zone last Sunday against the Titans. The Jaguars defense is improved this season, but they don't have the kind of team speed to stop Wallace.
9. Miles Austin, Cowboys
If his health was more clear heading into Week 6, Austin would be higher on this list. He's been out since Week 2, but Austin was a fantasy stud during his first two games. His stat line: 233 yards and four scores. Austin just needs to prove his health, and he'll rise back up the chart.
10. Steve Johnson, Bills
Johnson has been quiet the past two weeks, as he's failed to score a touchdown after finding the end zone in each of the Bills first three games. Now that he doesn't have to go head-to-head with Leon Hall and Nnamdi Asomugha, Johnson should return to form. The Giants present a good passing matchup for the Bills.
