NFL Predictions Week 6: Blaine Gabbert and 2 QBs Guaranteed To Struggle
While everyone is talking about all of the quarterbacks who are putting up amazing performances in this pass-heavy NFL season, there are still those who are struggling mightily.
The Jacksonville Jaguars' Blaine Gabbert and the Cleveland Browns' Colt McCoy have had significant difficulties in leading their respective teams to victory this year, and based on their Week 6 matchups, they will likely not reverse their courses anytime soon.
Gabbert's Jaguars are last in the league in passing yards—while this statistic is skewed by the ridiculously terrible play of Luke McCown, who started for the team at the beginning of the season, Gabbert hasn't fared much better.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In his four starts, he's completed just 49.5 percent of his passes for a total of 608 yards. He's thrown three touchdowns, two interceptions and has lost two fumbles. And this Sunday, he faces the Pittsburgh Steelers league-leading pass defense, which doesn't bode well for him to improve his statistics in the short term.
Another young quarterback, McCoy, hasn't had the upswing we all thought was coming this season. His best performance so far came in his team's Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Titans, when he attempted 61 passes for a career-high 350 yards.
But he also threw a pick-six in the game. He has three interceptions on the year with just six touchdowns and has completed just 58.1 percent of his passes. The fact that the Browns are having more trouble running the ball than passing shows how dire the entire offensive situation is for them right now.
This Sunday, the Browns travel to Oakland to take on the Raiders, a team that struggles against high-powered passing offenses, but Cleveland is hardly that. They've already faced defenses that appear weak against the pass and have struggled to gain yardage in the air.
McCoy is regressing rather than improving in his second year in the NFL. He makes poor teams look sharp, and this week against the Raiders, he's going to have a rough time in his attempt to lead the Browns to their third win of the season.
