Kansas City Chiefs: Why Todd Haley's Team Is Absolute Worst in the NFL
The Kansas City Chiefs are the worst team in the NFL. The Chiefs do have a victory, but also have several lopsided losses. They opened the season with back-to-back 40-point losses to the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills, and things haven't improved.
Last week, they were able to pick up a narrow victory against the Minnesota Vikings. The Chiefs took advantage of playing a winless team at home. However, they didn't look very impressive in their victory.
Kansas City has been struggling on both sides of the football. Offensively, they have been unable to overcome the season-ending injury to Jamaal Charles. Charles was one of the few explosive players on the offensive side of the ball. His ability to score from anywhere on the field caught the attention of defensive coordinators.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
There seems to be a real issue at the quarterback position. Matt Cassel has not played terrible, but also hasn't shown the ability to put this team on his back. He appears like more of a game manager than a playmaker. This is an issue because the offense doesn't have enough playmakers to overcome quarterback problems.
Todd Haley wants to feature a good ground attack, but they have been unable to play that style of football. He is finding that you cannot be a successful running team with a defense that struggles to stop the opponents. He often finds himself playing from behind, a situation not suited for running the ball.
Defensively, this team ranks near the bottom in most categories. However, the biggest problem has been stopping the run. They are allowing 130 yards per game, ranking them No. 26 in the NFL. Their inability to stop the run has put more pressure on the secondary.
The secondary is without Eric Berry, and his absence has caused problems. Today they are making Curtis Painter look like Peyton Manning. If you can't stop anyone or score points, you won't win many football games.
