Chad Henne Injury: Why Fantasy Owners Need to Trade Brandon Marshall Now
Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne left Sunday's 26-16 loss to the San Diego Chargers with a left shoulder injury. Apparently the Dolphins are looking to get a second opinion on what has been deemed a separation of his non-throwing shoulder, because they fear the condition could be season-ending in nature. If that's the case, backup Matt Moore will likely take over and anyone who owns Miami's No. 1 receiver, Brandon Marshall, should be trying to sell him off as soon as possible.
Without Henne in the lineup Marshall's value will fall even lower than it is right now. Despite being one of the more talented wideouts in the NFL, Marshall hasn't played up to his potential since arriving in Miami last season. This year he has just 22 receptions for 313 yards and one touchdown through four games.

Marshall is also tied with Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White for the NFL lead in drops with six, including three in the end zone. On Sunday he claims he lost a perfectly-thrown ball from Moore "in the sun" on a play that could have gone for 50 yards.
In 18 career games as a Dolphin, Marshall is averaging just six catches for 73.7 yards and has only four touchdowns. That's not what Miami thought it was getting when the team signed him to a five-year, $47.3 million contract in April of 2010.
Marshall has always been a bit of a mess off the field and now things seem to be catching up to him on it. He's only 27 years old but he has looked a step slow and completely out of sync on the field this season.
If someone in your league is willing to take him off your hands for a decent return, it might be time to start looking into moving Marshall.
