Andre Johnson Injury: Updates on Texans Star's Week 4 Status and Fantasy Value
Andre Johnson is the Houston Texans' most important player. Even without a healthy Arian Foster the Texans started the season 3-0.
If you were to ask them to do that without Andre Johnson it would have been nearly impossible.
He was on track for another big game today as he caught four balls for 36 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first half.

On the fourth catch he cut up field and fell down with what appeared to be a knee injury.
That, fortunately, is not the case. But he did strain his hamstring according to Mike Freeman of CBS:
Sunday, Oct. 2 at 6:53 p.m.
Johnson apparently didn't injure his knee on Sunday, but did injure his hamstring. According to Pro Football Talk, the All-Pro wideout is scheduled for a MRI:
"Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Johnson will undergo an MRI today to determine the severity of the injury.
"
Johnson didn't return to the game Sunday after the injury, but he was seen standing on the sidelines and is able to walk.
John McClain of the Houston Chronicle echoed this update tweeting:
The Texans cannot afford to be without their star receiver for too long, but they also do not want to risk further injury.
Hamstrings, as evidenced by Arian Foster earlier this season, can be a nagging problem when not given ample time to heal.
They can flare up at any moment, and there is no quick fix other than simply resting the muscle for an extended period of time.
Obviously this week is a wash for fantasy owners, but if his injury forces him to miss any time it will likely be Jacoby Jones that sees more touches his way.
They've also allowed Matt Schaub to turn around and the hand the ball off to Arian Foster more than expected early on in this game.
Monitor the situation closely, but it doesn't appear as if Johnson is going to return to the field today. There have been reports from the sidelines and all the latest intel is coming from other sources.
The Texans have also gone to their three tight ends—Owen Daniels, Joel Dreesen and James Casey—early in this game. Look for Schaub to include them more if Johnson is not able to get back on the field.
More will updated when more is known.
